NexArt today launched NexArt Evidence Bridge, a managed ingestion layer that turns the JSON events organisations already produce into structured, cryptographically verifiable AI execution evidence. It is available now at bridge.nexart.io.
The launch follows the full application of Article 12 of the EU AI Act on 2 August 2026. Article 12 requires high-risk AI systems to technically allow for the automatic recording of events over the lifetime of the system, at a level of traceability appropriate to the system's intended purpose. Article 26(6) requires deployers to retain those logs for at least six months.
Most production AI systems already record execution identifiers, timestamps, requested models, inputs, outputs and governance decisions. Every organisation records them differently. One application uses runId, another execution.id, while provider information sits in metadata and governance decisions live in a separate system.
Producing a common evidence artifact has therefore meant changing event schemas that also feed data warehouses, observability platforms and audit processes. Evidence Bridge removes that requirement. Organisations keep their existing JSON and define an explicit mapping describing how each field should be interpreted as execution evidence.

How it works
An organisation supplies representative JSON. Evidence Bridge suggests mappings between source paths and NexArt evidence semantics, which are then reviewed, because matching field names does not establish meaning. A field named model might be a requested model, a routing alias, a fallback, or a value reported by a provider. Those are different claims.
The reviewed mapping is published as an immutable profile revision. Applications then send their existing JSON unchanged to a Bridge ingestion endpoint.
If the event carries the required semantics, Evidence Bridge creates a Certified Execution Record and verifies its integrity locally. If it does not, Evidence Bridge reports the event as ineligible rather than inventing missing information.
Origin Trace
Evidence Bridge preserves an Origin Trace for every mapped field. The record shows the value; the Origin Trace shows how it was derived: which source path supplied it, whether it came from a constant, which transformation applied, and which profile revision was active. Profiles are immutable and revisioned, so historical evidence stays connected to the rules that produced it.
What certification does and does not establish
A Certified Execution Record establishes that protected information is consistent with the cryptographic identity of the artifact. A NexArt Node attestation adds signed evidence that the Node verified and accepted that artifact.
Neither establishes that the claims supplied by the originating application were true. If a source application records an incorrect model name and Evidence Bridge maps it faithfully, the record remains cryptographically intact while containing an incorrect claim. Cryptography protects evidence from undetected modification. It does not turn an unsupported assertion into fact.
NexArt does not claim the EU AI Act requires Certified Execution Records or NexArt. NexArt certification is not EU AI Act conformity assessment, and Evidence Bridge does not certify ISO/IEC 42001 compliance.
Records can be created and verified locally without Node attestation. Where signed attestation is required, the record is submitted unchanged to a NexArt Node. Direct SDK integration remains available; Evidence Bridge is an additional route, not a replacement.
