Babis win Czech elections with majority of votes
The ruling Spolu alliance placed second with about 22.5% of the vote, and the Stan movement followed in third place with approximately 11%.
The Spolu coalition won the 2021 election by a slim margin, beating the ANO party by less than one percent, and subsequently formed a government under the leadership of Petr Fiala.
The Pirates, SPD, and Motorists parties successfully won seats, earning roughly 8.5%, almost 8%, and nearly 7% of the vote, in that order. However, both the Stacilo! movement (4.2%) and the Oath party (1.1%) were unsuccessful, falling short of the 5% minimum needed to enter the lower house of parliament.
On Monday, the final results will be examined by the State Election Commission. The official results are anticipated to be formalized in the Collection of Laws by Tuesday, and the public can begin challenging those results at the Supreme Administrative Court on Wednesday.
