Trump Denies Claims on Iran Nuclear Funding

News outlets had reported that the Trump administration explored the possibility of offering Iran financial concessions—such as releasing billions in frozen assets—in return for halting its uranium enrichment activities, according to three individuals briefed on the matter.
On June 22, the U.S. military dropped six bunker-penetrating bombs on Iran’s Fordo nuclear site and launched numerous submarine-launched cruise missiles at two additional facilities in Natanz and Isfahan, in an ongoing effort to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
A planned sixth round of negotiations between Washington and Tehran was set for June 15, but was disrupted after Israel conducted airstrikes on Iranian military, atomic, and civilian infrastructure on June 13.
